Who is responsible
Clover Time Guide, clovertime.top, is the publisher. Contact contact@clovertime.top for privacy requests. We do not operate Roblox accounts.
What the browser stores
Key ct_consent_v1 in localStorage. Value: a small JSON object with your choice (granted or denied), a timestamp, and the strings ads and analytics. Purpose: remember the cookie choice, replay it as the Google tag consent signal on later visits and decide whether the Adsterra loader may inject the ad scripts. Retention: 180 days from the timestamp, then the banner asks again. Legal basis: consent, and a strict refusal when the browser sends Global Privacy Control. The footer control labeled Cookie settings deletes nothing by itself. It reopens the banner so you can save a new choice.
The inline Google tag snippet calls gtag("consent","default") with ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage set to denied before it configures the property, and it sets ads_data_redaction and url_passthrough. The page then requests gtag.js from www.googletagmanager.com. While analytics_storage is denied, Google Analytics 4 receives cookieless pings only and sets no analytics cookie. Accept optional moves analytics_storage to granted, which lets the tag set its _ga cookies and count the visit in the property reports. Reject optional, and any browser sending Global Privacy Control, leave analytics_storage denied. Advertising storage stays denied in every case: this property runs no ad personalization.
Microsoft Clarity, once you allow optional storage, writes its own first-party cookies on clovertime.top: _clck, which lasts about a year, and _clsk, which lasts about a day. Before that choice the site does not request the Clarity tag at all, so neither cookie is written. Reject optional, or a browser sending Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, keeps it that way; Cookie settings in the footer reopens the banner, and a later rejection stops Clarity on following page loads. Cookies Clarity already wrote stay in the browser until you clear site data for clovertime.top.
Adsterra, the ad network, only after you allow it
Display ads on this site are served by Adsterra (publisher website 6117991 for clovertime.top). Two units run here: a Native Banner inside the page and a Social Bar at the end of the page. Popunder, Smartlink and all adult-ad formats are switched off for this website in the Adsterra dashboard, and adult ads stay off. No ad request leaves the browser until you allow optional storage — the loader we ship only appends the Adsterra scripts (served from bicea.org) after an accepted choice, and a rejection, Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track leaves bicea.org unrequested. A first paint never contains an advertising script.
What Adsterra receives once you accept: the page address and the referring page, a pseudonymous universally unique identifier (UID) held in a cookie, the device and browser user agent, a timestamp, and impression and click counts. Adsterra states that it does not collect or store personally identifiable information such as name, email address or billing details, and that it uses this pseudonymous information to serve ads. Purpose: fund this guide, cap how often the same ad is shown and measure impressions and clicks. Legal basis: consent. Retention: the Adsterra cookie lifetime is set by Adsterra; the choice in ct_consent_v1 is remembered for 180 days, after which the banner asks again. Reject optional, and no ad is requested; Cookie settings withdraws the choice, which stops ads on following page views and leaves any cookie already written in the browser until you clear site data.
Adsterra documents this processing in its Cookies Policy at https://help-publishers.adsterra.com/en/articles/6144870-cookies-policy and its privacy policy at https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/. Opt out of personalised advertising from participating vendors at https://www.youronlinechoices.com/ and https://optout.aboutads.info/.
Google Analytics, only after you allow it
We count visits with Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-RK69SP7FTT, Google LLC) to learn which pages answer player questions. The tag loads from www.googletagmanager.com for every visitor, but Consent Mode v2 starts it with analytics_storage denied, so before you allow optional storage it sends cookieless pings and cannot set analytics cookies. Accept optional grants analytics_storage; Reject optional and Global Privacy Control leave it denied, and Cookie settings can withdraw it again.
What Google receives once analytics_storage is granted: the page address, the referring page, a coarse location derived from your IP address, device and browser details, and interaction events such as page views, scrolls and outbound clicks. Purpose: aggregate audience measurement for this guide, so we know which codes and guides get read. Legal basis: consent. Google LLC processes the data on its own infrastructure; its privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy and its opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. We keep no account database, join this data to nobody, and export no personal data. Retention follows the property settings for Google Analytics event data.
This is the only Google tag on the site. It is not an ad tag, it is not shared with an ad network, and Google Signals and ad personalization are left off.
Microsoft Clarity, only after you allow it
We record replay sessions and heatmaps with Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) to see which parts of a guide players read, scroll past or tap, and to find pages where the layout gets in the way. The official Clarity snippet is injected in the browser only after you accept optional storage; with a rejection, Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track the clarity.ms tag is never requested. An eager first paint carries no Clarity script.
What Microsoft receives once you accept: the page address, a session identifier, interaction events such as clicks, taps, scroll depth and cursor movement, device and browser details, and a coarse location derived from your IP address, sent to clarity.ms hosts. Purpose: usability measurement for this guide; legal basis: consent. Clarity masks text typed into form fields by default on this site. Microsoft processes the data on its own infrastructure; its privacy statement is at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement. Reject optional, and the tag stays off; Cookie settings withdraws it for later visits. We join replay data to no account and export no personal data.
YouTube, only after you press play
Some pages show a gameplay review by the creator MK. The thumbnail is stored on this site. Only after you accept optional playback and press play do we inject Google’s YouTube privacy-enhanced player at www.youtube-nocookie.com. Inspection of that player endpoint also observed fonts.gstatic.com, ssl.gstatic.com, www.google.com and jnn-pa.googleapis.com. Google may use further media delivery hosts during playback. These are Google/YouTube services, not separate analytics or advertising tags added by this site. Google receives your IP address and player activity and may use cookies or browser storage after interaction. Purpose: requested video playback; legal basis: consent. Google controls its retention periods. The iframe does not allow top-level navigation. Rejecting optional playback blocks the embed; withdrawing it through Cookie settings removes an active player. No iframe loads on first paint.
Hosting and external links
Cloudflare will serve the deployed site and receive connection information such as IP address, URL and security metadata to deliver and protect it. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards messages sent to contact@clovertime.top to our publisher inbox. Email includes the sender address and message; we use it only to respond to the request, not for advertising. Roblox, Trello and Discord are outbound links, not embedded scripts. They receive a visit only when you follow their links. Fonts and images are self-hosted.
What we do not load
No Google AdSense and no second ad network: Adsterra is the only seller on this site and it serves the two units named above. No Popunder opens a new window, no Smartlink page replaces this one, and no adult ad format is enabled for clovertime.top. Microsoft Clarity is the only session-replay tool, and it is requested only after you allow optional storage. ads.txt declares no seller line: Adsterra provides no ads.txt entries and states that its advertisers do not require them, and this site has no Google AdSense publisher id — the file itself carries that note. Personalized-ad opt-out links: https://adssettings.google.com/ and https://optout.aboutads.info/. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are treated as a refusal of optional storage, which also keeps Clarity and the ads off. GPC skips the banner and stores a denied choice.
